In direct reaction to Friday’s horrific murder of Empress Jamyl I, the Amarr Empire is marshaling its military forces and has officially declared a state of war between the Empire and the Difters.
Grand Admiral Kezti Sundara described the threat to the Empire to be “A threat to Holy Amarr, His will, and God’s chosen that is absolute. All divisions of the Imperial Armed Forces have been issued Executive Orders containing instruction that their primary objective is the defense of the Empire’s borders, her people, and God’s will”

A recent decree from The Office of the Court Chamberlain confirmed the decision to go to war in light of Friday’s atrocity. Many fleet movements have already been detected. There have been reports of engagements in the Khanid Kingdom, and the Amarr propaganda machine has gone into full swing with the theme of “iron resistance to a foe of unimaginable evil, with subjects exhorted to work and pray for the ‘Defense of the Throne Worlds.'”
Our sources tell of Drifter incursions, so far only in Amarr space, but who knows where they may show up next! We encourage all capsuleers everywhere to take this growing threat seriously. Drifters appear to be very confident in their military abilities. We do not know their agenda or even why they have been attacking the Amarr Navy, let alone why they assassinated Empress Jamyl.
