The Amarr Empire is sponsoring an event during the period of September 15-25 in order to prepare clone soldiers for the upcoming war, while capsuleers prepare for the tournament that will name the next emperor of the Amarr Empire. Participants will be showered with ISK and Aurum. The very best will also receive a SKIN blueprint to identify them as loyalists to the empire.
Empress Jamyl I was responsible for bringing clone soldier technology to New Eden. Using implants harvested from the heads of Sleepers, her engineers created a Templar army with the goal of bringing peace to the galaxy — through superior firepower of course. Upon realizing that these immortal soldiers carried with them latent Sleeper consciousness, she ordered her engineers to design new implants.
She also ordered the extermination of all Templars. To ensure no other faction would use harvested Sleeper implants, she gave this new technology away in an unprecedented move. It is unknown if her defiling of Sleepers had anything to do with her assassination at the hands of the Drifters.
This event will last ten days and will grant clone soldiers up to 750,000 skill points, two million ISK, and five thousand Aurum. Mercs who win 30 battles during the event will also receive a ‘Deathshroud’ Amarr Medium SKIN blueprint. Each day, clone soldiers will be presented with the following three missions.
- Earn 2500 War Points. Reward: 15.000 Skill Points.
- Achieve 150 Kills. Reward: 25.000 Skill Points + 50.000 ISK.
- Finish 5 battles. Reward: 35.000 Skill Points + 150.000 ISK.
In addition, completing five missions each day will grant the player 500 Aurum. The ‘Deathshroud’ skin will be granted to players who achieve 30 victories during the 10 day event. This module fits medium Amarr dropsuits making them appear white with gold and burgundy accents.
The event runs from 11:00 UTC on September 15 until 11:00 UTC on September 25. The official announcement can be found on the Dust 514 website.
