Brave Collective’s Dunk Dinkle posted a “Not a SOTA” state of the alliance video over the weekend in which he asked his members to stop name calling and shitposting, move their stuff to YZ9, expect the war to go on for months, and stock up on entosis stuff.
“We’re in Delve now,” he said, “Thanks for everyone’s hard work. Everyone in Brave helped out, our allies in the PAPI-Anaconda-Snek coalition. Everyone helped out.”
He said that the Keepstar in YZ9 had been built by Brave “from only the finest materials in Catch and Impasse . . . so it’s a Brave Keepstar that’s been planted there.”
“We are living in some amazing times, in this war. World-record battles, huge numbers on each side that have never been seen before. Amazing stuff is going on.”
He credited the Imperium for “impressive” tactical efforts during the multiple Keepstar kills, and said that all sides have shown new tactics, new abilities, new doctrines. “We are in golden times,” he said, for “everyone involved with the war.”
“There’s going to be a lot of iHub warfare going on [and] a tremendous amount of subcap fleet fights happening” for the next several months. He said, “the Imperium is strong, resourceful, and they’re led by smart people. It’s not going to be a cakewalk. “
We Love ‘The Bad Guys’
“There’s a lot of narrative and spin going on from our opponent,” he said, “but it’s what they have to do to inspire their troops. So don’t fall into the name calling. Don’t fall into the shitposting. We’re making history right now.” He said that no matter which side you’re on “we’re all one big EVE nerd family.”
‘I’m Not Saying We Have to Be Hippies’
“War can be stressful on groups like ours,” he said. “We’re spread out. We’re defending in some places and attacking in others. There’s a lot going on.” He said that there’s been too much “snark, drama and acrimony, even from our leaders and FCs,” and he said he wanted everyone to “assume best intentions.” Don’t assume people are “trying to do the wrong thing, or trying to be stupid.” He said everyone should “try to act with “some kindness.”
