It is not a secret in EVE that Pandemic Legion often goes on fishing trips and using their skills, massive spaceships, and luck, they can snag the best catches hook, line, and sinker.
During a routine fishing trip in Derelik, in the system Bairshir, PL had something big bite on their bait: an Aeon belonging to the pilot Vulvasi.
At this time it is not clear what Vulvasi was doing or was up to in Derelik flying the popular space coffin. However, what is clear is that the PL fishing safari caught wind of their prey, and went in for the kill.
While it may have been have been typical for the Aeon to have friends, especially since the pilot belongs to Nulli Secunda, to come and defend it during a fight, it is notable that this Aeon was completely unsupported and died in a way uncommon for supers in large alliances: alone and with little recourse. Though of course, successfuly moving a supercarrier by oneself is notunknown. During this battle where this Aeon was caught and promptly eaten for dinner by PL, the only loss on PL’s side was a single Onyx heavy interdiction crusier, who we can assume was one of the initial tacklers of this supercarrier.
