TEST Alliance Please Ignore (TEST) is preparing for “total war”. That is the position of ProGodLegend, Military Commander for TEST. The surprise admission came during a June 28 alliance ‘town hall’ meeting. During the same meeting, TEST claimed to have forces staged around Imperium space. Leaked audio of the meeting laid out the strategic bombshell and reviewed short-term plans that PGL wants Legacy members to focus on until July 5. On that date, the three-year-old Non-Invasion Pact (NIP) between Legacy and the Imperium ends. PGL also said he would be calling a “massive coalition meeting” on that date to review specifics about the upcoming conflict.
According to PGL, war plans have been in the works “for a while now,” and Imperium leader The Mittani “has absolutely no idea” what lies ahead. He said that “quite a few groups” are “converging on Imperium” space from all directions. PGL then told his members that on July 5 “we are going to total war, full bore, 24/7, all hands on deck, and it is going to be a war of annihilation.” In the meantime, he cautioned, members should be making ISK and participating in move ops.
EVE has not had a war like this one, PGL said, since 2016’s “World War Bee,” otherwise known as the Casino War. “Most you have not experienced war either at all, or for a long time,” he told TEST members, “and some of you are relatively new to the game and probably have never been in one of these wars. Some of you may have forgotten what they are like.” He called on members to join special squads and for those groups to be prepared, including wormhole, intel, and bomber squads. He said that the alliance has caches of ships that they can call upon for the war, with a particular stock of dreadnoughts, and that SRP ISK is plentiful.
FRT Echoes TEST
Echoing PGL’s comments, Fraternity. (FRT) leader Noraus told his members on June 28 to expect “multiple months of sov warfare, dozens of simultaneous fleets, large swaths of territory being razed, rebuilt, and rerazed, and 10% tidi Titan showdowns.” He said the war would begin on July 5, and “will be terrifying in scale.” He said that FRT would blue TEST, Pandafam, and “other Legacy groups for the duration of the war” despite having “no bad blood with the Imperium, or the Mittani,” and despite years of antagonism with TEST.
Noraus also said this would not be the last war in EVE, but that “this war will reshape the state of 0.0.” He said that “allying with Legacy and their partners is the best course of action for FRT.” The coalition of new allies will “coordinate strikes from multiple directions into Fountain and Delve.” He said that most of the war will occur in EUTZ, but that FRT will “put 100% of our effort during our timezone into attacking Imperium production capabilities, making it hard for their members, disrupting their PvE.”
When asked to comment on PGL’s statements, The Mittani said, “TEST has fucked around, and now they’re going to find out.”
