Requiem Eternal was deleted early Friday when someone with roles in its executor corp disbanded the alliance, removing sov in Impass, Catch, Querious and Tenerfis and flipping infrastructure ownership. Alliance and corp assets valued at approximately 400b ISK were also ‘regifted’.
Brave Collective and Test Alliance Please Ignore spent Friday morning resetting iHubs in Impass that were recently under Requiem sov.

Many observers pointed to this latest move by the Imperium as reminiscent of the demise of Band of Brothers (BoB). One explained that affair on Reddit a few years ago:
“It was officially brought to an end,” Ming Tso said, “when an inactive director named Haargoth Agamar decided that he was tired of the ‘elite’ attitude that BoB displayed, and contacted a Goonswarm line-member at the time Tamir Lenk, and gave him valid access to BoB’s director forums. Lenk then contacted The Mittani, (who was at the time the head of [Goon Intelligence]) and together they worked up a plan to do as much damage as they could.”
‘All they could’ included stealing all of Black Nova Corp’s corporate capital and subcap assets, setting all of BNC’s allies to red and Goons blue, kicking all corps out of BoB, taking all the ISK from BNC’s corp wallet, and leaving the now famous note: “The Mittani sends his regards.”

Menaiya
Couldn’t happen to a nicer bunch of idiots.

So it seems that some REQ leaders were very unhappy with the situation they were in and wanted out. They then worked with The Imperium to disband REQ alliance and steal everything on the way out. The 50 systems dropped by REQ were generally ignored as they have no value. But the ones REQ owned in Delve were all picked up again by The Imperium. Of course sov levels are reset for all concerned that affects things like Ansiblex Jump Gates.
The more important take aways for me are:
I continue to see Test members just saying “who are these people” or “they did nothing and were useless anyway” when referencing alliances like REQ or Evictus. Not sure why they are doing that. But given Test’s history of deal brreaking and back stabbing I am less than surprised.
With there being so little assets in REQ and also by virtue that they are handed SRP by Test, I can only conclude that either REQ line members are the richest in the game, or some of the leadership of REQ were running the alliance as a personal bank. This is often the case and then when titans suddenly appear with grand names like “The Champions Jewel” and there being an ever changing story as to how it came into being.
The Imperium leadership has made promises of “there is more to come” when refering to this and previous incidents, as with RA etc. Seems that The Imperium leadership is holding up to that promise.
