OCT 5, 2020: FWST-8, DELVE—Nearly 3700 players clashed in NPC Delve today in what is likely the bloodiest single engagement of World War Bee. The fighting centered on an anchoring FRT Keepstar. Outnumbered by as many as 500 opponents, the Imperium’s forces destroyed the Keep, and won the strategic objective, though not without taking heavy losses themselves.
Imperium subcapital forces ranged from bombers and Harpies, through multiple fleets of heavy assault cruisers, and even battleships. PAPI fielded multiple HAC fleets as well, and deployed 210 supercarriers and over 40 titans in the defense.
The final cost of the battle currently shows at over 970b ISK. The vast majority of that is 250 Imperium dreadnoughts. However, even hours after the fighting’s end, the Keepstar itself has not yet registered on zkillboard.
Fighting is likely to continue in FWST tomorrow, as FRT responded to the citadel’s destruction by dropping another Keepstar as Imperium forces extracted. During this second initial anchoring timer, FRT leader Noraus is rumored to have told his capital pilots to drop and recall their fighters in order to create TiDi, as citadel timers are not subject to time dilation.
