Horde Resets Dozens of Former PAPI Members

Ever since the end of WWB, many have been curious about the future of the now broken PAPI. Aside from the usual talk of TEST and BRAVE being in anarchy, the other PAPI members have seemed pretty safe. Living far from the imperium and in fortified strongholds, Fraternity and Horde may feel relatively little impact from the recent events. With Horde’s new announcements, some of your questions will have been answered!

Gobbins recently announced that all entities on the list below will be considered neutrals, with exception of Fireco and Winterco. Regarding those coalitions specifically, Gobbins stated that although roaming in their space is ok, there will be no sov warfare perpetrated. Notably, TEST and BRAVE were not included on the list, as Gobbins stated that they needed a chance to settle in their new homes.

So what is the impact of this? Horde has always been dedicated to content, so a move like this is no surprise. What is surprising is how soon Horde undertook this reset and how broad it is. Most likely, the northern regions of Vale, Geminate and Drone Lands will now have the highest concentration of neutral alliances in the game. If Gobbins is hoping to create more content, then this move certainly should achieve that goal. For PvP-oriented members of both Horde and former PAPI, this may just be the content the game needs to be fun again and the reset could not happen at a better time. However, for small groups, the “friendly reset” may be concerning, as now they will risk losing space and assets if they continue to dwell in close proximity to Horde.

I don’t think Sentinel Dawn have to worry about being fucked by the Horde, if you look at Dotlan that alliance is dead. As in top 3 corps walked out and joined BRAVE, so I think they’ll be fine-ish

Horde’s backs must have been tired from carrying TEST and Brave for the past thirteen months.

It’s not often I laugh out loud at INN comments, but this one got me.

It’s going to be pretty funny if test and brave get farmed out of their new space by their former allies before we can finish burning down their keepstar trail to drones.

I am loving how those who said that the blue-donut was not real are taking to this news. Cries of “see, the blue-donut is not a thing at all”.

Firstly note that there are 60 alliances listed in PHs reset list. This is not the 103 number touted by the Imperium but it is a lot. Also PH did not blue all of their allies, so that needs to be considered.

Now to the best bit. So PanFam have a NIP with FIRE and Winter Co and will keep blue standings with Brave and TAPI. Somehow this is now nothing to do with PAPI and is not at all similar. Looks to me that PH just reset the chaff and kept the core blue-donut very much together.

“Looks to me that PH just reset the chaff and kept the core blue-donut very much together.”

Well of course they did, gobbins outright admitted he was very happy with the new “equilibrium” created by the blue donut.

The blue donut remains. They just removed the sprinkles!
