Friendship Week 15% off Omega
From now until March 30th grab a year of Omega for 15% off. That’s a pretty good deal, and if you’ve been playing for years like I have, you might as well. It’s a lot of money in one chunk, but you’re going to spend more in the long run if you keep doing it one month at a time.
Friendship Week 20-26 March
For once we actually tell you about something in time! This week (at the time of print) is Friendship Week. In recognition of International Happiness Day, CCP is doing daily streams; there is a screenshot competition and some sales on Omega and some PermaBand SKINs. Hard to knock something with this much positive energy. #SendingVibes
St. Patrick’s Day Special
This one you will have missed by the time you read it, but FYI, CCP had a sale for Saint Patrick’s Day, which apparently is a Christian holiday (saints and stuff), that is about getting shit-hammered. Or something. I’m an American and the Irish in me goes several generations back, so you tell me. Nevertheless, there was a sale where you could get a SKIN, and 1100 PLEX with the purchase of 1 month of Omega.
Quality of Life Updates
CCP is releasing several QOL updates on March 23rd. Multiple jump clones, a burst jammer nerf (no more nullified interceptors; sorry boys), and some single-transfer mass limitation bumps for wormholes. They also boosted the Target Spectrum Breaker slightly, though I don’t know if anyone cares.
Mindstorm Experience Packs
The next set of Expert Systems is rolling out with a package deal. You can pick up the Exploration Themed pack which gives you access to exploration frigates (T1), and 10 PLEX, or pick up the Mining Experience, which gives you access to mining barges and 50 PLEX.
