We are fast approaching a year of World War Bee, the biggest and bloodiest fight to have ever occurred in EVE Online, and there is very little evidence of it slowing down.
Fountain of Glass
On June 21st 2020 Imperium Command received the following
“At this time, we feel that it is in the best interest of both parties that our mutual NIP come to an END. Due to the conflict you are currently involved in and because of our history of cooperation and friendship I am proposing the NIP to end on the date of July the fifth to allow you two weeks to fortify your borders or any areas you feel would require it. If you intend to end the NIP before that time we will understand. “
During the first phases of the war The Initiative took the brunt of the PAPI invasion with Panfam setting their sights on Fountain.
As the war commenced, PanFam were given the task of tackling Fountain. Many fights were had as PAPI setup staging in Hophib. INIT dug in and prepared. With PAPI focused on D4KU, due to a long regional jump into Fountain, the sov wanding began. Closely followed by INIT defending the constellation on a consistent basis. It took PAPI forces over a month to break the defences of Fountain before INIT decided to reposition. With numbers of hostiles always being an issue, INIT made the decision to move all assets out of Fountain and into Delve.
The Glassing of Fountain cost 5.2 trillion isk from the defenders, and 1.8 trillion isk from the attackers. INIT directly took 1.9 trillion of those losses, which is not insignificant.
The Best Defence?
With Fountain behind us, and the continued incursions into allied space, INIT did what INIT does best. We deployed. With a thirst for revenge, INIT deployed to Catch with the core goal of absolute destruction.
With many targets to choose from, the level of devastation caused by INIT and frenemies is undeniable.
230 Athanors, 71 Fortizars, 13 faction Fortizars, 60 Astrahus, 50 Raitaru, 136 Jump Gates, 23 Tataras, 47 Rorquals and many many more. The butcher’s bill for PAPI so far in the southern regions reaches 9.1 trillion isk, exceeding the 5.2 trillion in the glassing of Fountain, however, this clearly is not enough.
Best Served Cold…
With recent news circulating that Legacy have approached Red Alliance and INIT in hopes of selling faction fortizars and other structures, clarification was provided by INIT leadership.
In a war of mutually-assured destruction there will be no deals, no compromises and no mercy. The only way out is death, and it won’t be ours.
There’s no deal we would ever sign up to, this goes to the end.
Sister Bliss
INITs official stance is not abiding by any deals made with legacy. If it had a legacy ticker it will die.
Dark Shines
Further to this, Dark Shines provided additional insight into people driving the “moving goalpost” narrative.
Exactly like how Fountain burnt down. INIT has never claimed that glassing Fountain didn’t matter. It was our home.
Equally as important is INIT glassing Legacy’s home. They are moving to Delve with the hopes to live there but it’s clear to everyone they can only live there for as long as panfam hand hold. If panfam leave, then legacy need to as well but now there will be nothing behind for them to retreat into.

Future Legacy
Legacy has major concerns going forward with regards to winning this war. There are now many requirements in place for Legacy to come out of this war unscathed. That becomes especially true when ‘TEST is Next’. Along with TEST, Legacy stands as the primary target of retribution should the war stall.
Should Legacy not destroy huge amounts of Imperium super capitals, they will not be able to hold Delve. If they are unable to take 1DQ1-A, they will not be able to hold Delve. With their former home space burning, they have nowhere to go with infrastructure in place. And finally, with ProGodLegend previously stating they would control their prior space and Delve, more and more questions are being asked about the competency of the Legacy war leadership.
