In preparation for the Sovereignty mechanic changes coming with the Carnyx release, CCP has announced a set of wargames for players to test the Entosis Link modules in a hypothetical alliance war.
In a recent forum post, CCP Lebowski goes over the details of the war being staged on Singularity. CCP has set up two alliances for the purpose of testing, each with control over three systems, and with a three system NPC controlled neutral zone between them.
This handy image shows the setup :
The forum post indicates that this war is solely to test out the enabling and disabling of station services using the new Entosis mechanics. In order to keep the testing on the correct track, the following rules have been created:
- The moveme command will now allow pilots to move to YZ-LQL, a NPC null system equidistant from each Alliance’s space.
- Combat is only permitted within the 6 alliance owned systems. All other systems follow the normal Singularity rules – Combat only upon consent.
- Remember what the test server is for! By all means test out strategies and metas, but this should all be in the name of testing the functionality of the station services. As always, remember Wheatons Law
- No SBUs, no attacking the TCUs or Ihubs, no trying to flip stations, this is all about Station Services and the Entosis link.
Any individual pilots, as well as corporations are welcome to join one of the alliances and begin testing in this staged war. In order to enlist as a pilot simply apply to either executor corp, or as a corporation have your CEO apply to join either Alliance.
