Week 54 of World War Bee was up slightly from week 53, with 15 total hostile actions reported, putting the week just above some of the absolute lows. Delve and its environs were home to most of the action.
[Editor’s Note: As the war has reached its anniversary, INN’s tracker is now split between the July 2020 to June 2021 events and July 2021 onwards. The first year’s data remains broken, but the author is tentatively hopeful the Year 2 data will calculate moving forward.]
There was one battle in week 54 that exceeded 20 billion ISK in cumulative losses, outside of the 1DQ1-A/T5ZI-S border skirmish battle report. It was a brawl in Fountain between a mess of alliances, both PAPI-aligned and third-party.
The three major theaters are the North (Fountain and the border with Aridia and Cloud Ring as well as western Delve), the South (the rest of Delve, Querious, and Period Basis), and the East (Paragon Soul, Catch, Stain, Immensea, and Esoteria).
THE NORTHERN THEATER
Sunday in the North was interesting, as Legacy lost a pair of Hels, one in Fountain, the other in Aridia. The biggest fight of the week was Wednesday in J5A-IX, as nearly a thousand players united to fight over the border system between Cloud Ring and Fountain headlined by third-party alliances assailing a mostly-PAPI force. All told, the parties involved lost 159.2 billion ISK.
THE EASTERN THEATER
The East was once again relatively quiet, with modest ganks of battleships, capitals, and Rorquals.
THE SOUTHERN THEATER
Sunday, the border skirmish battle report between 1DQ1-A and T5ZI-S showed that the Imperium killed 8.1 billion ISK for 7.4 billion in losses. Monday, the border skirmish battle report had the Imperium killing 3.4 billion ISK for 5.5 billion in losses. Tuesday’s border skirmish battle report was meatier, as the Imperium killed 16.6 billion ISK for 11.4 billion in losses. Wednesday extended the expensive day for PAPI (given the fight in the North) with the border skirmish battle report showing the Imperium killed 21.9 billion ISK for 17.4 billion in losses. Thursday, Imperium forces beat up a Legacy Cerberus gang with Feroxes, killing 10.1 billion ISK for 234 million in losses. The border skirmish battle report showed the Imperium killed 9.5 billion ISK for 11.5 billion in losses. Friday’s border skirmish battle report showed the Imperium killed 12.6 billion ISK for 7.7 billion in losses. Saturday, the Imperium blunted another attempt in 3-DMQT, killing 6.7 billion ISK for 3.7 billion in losses. The week-ending border skirmish battle report showed the Imperium killed 9 billion ISK for 10.4 billion in losses.
ELSEWHERE IN NEW EDEN
Elsewhere in New Eden this week, PAPI forces lost a Hel in Vale of the Silent and a Nyx in Detorid.

Don’t worry – Gobbins assures us that after a year of war PAPI leadership has finally assembled “to decide how to proceed” with “a unified plan.” Noraus promised the plan would be revealed in two to four weeks, which… actually suggests the plan hasn’t been developed yet.

“Now, most people “decide how to proceed” with “a unified plan” BEFORE going off to war,”
Or at least after a few months of not getting the job done. PH is rapaidly moving from looking like the only competent group in papi to just another group of idiots following an idiot who thought following vily was a good idea.

The Meta has been on fire this week. With all the drama around former NC member Original Sinners and then some very interesting leaks on Reddit from “papisnowden”, PAPI leadership is in full spin control. They even rolled out Lady Scarlet from NC to offer up a heavily revised version of history to paint themselves as the good guys. Turns out not only was Mittens being honest about the “back stab” planned by TAPI but also has receipts.
Then there is the fact that despite PAPI leaders saying that reffing anything in a hostile stager is impossible the Imperium just reffed a load of structures in T5Z. More lies from PAPI leadership? Surely not.
Things are so bad now in PAPI that they are now having a “big announcement” this coming weekend. Speculation is rife as to what this could mean. Especially as PAPI leaders just the other day were on about that nothing will happen as every one is on a summer break now and will be for two months. Oh my it is so hard to keep up with all of this. It is rumoured that this “big announcement” relates to the TTC in Perimeter, or perhaps the releasing of the ESS tags. Personally I am hoping for PAPI to announce their very own tournament, as that seems to be a great way to curry favour in these times. I hope I am not “disappointed”.

Got around to watching The Meta show and it was great. Apparently Snuffed Out has also rejoined The Imperium too which is nice but made me go back to reddit. But it seems PAPI’s been faceplanting again as first page of threads is pretty much Imperium members trashing the shit out of them.

Wow, papi is now losing massive fights to random collections of smaller groups… this isn’t looking good for them

That’s how the donut crumbles.

On the other hand there’s also been reports of a Providence Class freighter belonging to LoneStar Industries carrying a Sotiyo class orbital manufacturing station attacked in a suicide operation by unknown assailants, all of their ships were promptly destroyed and their pilots arrested by Concord.
Rumored to have been working under Goonswarm Federation as part of their guerrilla campaign against the PAPI super coalition consistent of over 100 capsuleer corporations it isn’t clear if LoneStar Industries has any formal affiliation with the super coalition, with Lone Star Industries CEO refusing to comment on the matter. Concord have refused to comment on the affiliation of the 36 members in their custody, stating that it happened in high security space and is therefore “None of PAPI’s business” and that they will not be handing them over.
