Week 53 of World War Bee was down again from week 52, with 13 total hostile actions reported, the second-lowest of the year-long war. Delve and its environs were home to most of the action.

There was one battle in week 53 that exceeded 20 billion ISK in cumulative losses, outside of the 1DQ1-A/T5ZI-S border skirmish battle report. It was a successful trade of a Goon POS for a number of PAPI dreadnoughts.
The three major theaters are the North (Fountain and the border with Aridia and Cloud Ring as well as western Delve), the South (the rest of Delve, Querious, and Period Basis), and the East (Paragon Soul, Catch, Stain, Immensea, and Esoteria).
THE NORTHERN THEATER
The North was relatively quiet during week 53, but there remain small gang fights and ganks.
THE EASTERN THEATER
The East was relatively quiet as well, as far as reported actions, but it too remains home to small gang fights and ganks.
THE SOUTHERN THEATER
Sunday’s July 4th fireworks in Delve saw the Imperium trade a POS in NPC Delve for five dreadnoughts, ultimately killing 31.6 billion ISK for 1.9 billion in losses. The border skirmish battle report saw blows fly between 1DQ1-A and T5ZI-S as the Imperium killed 11.9 billion ISK for 8.1 billion ISK in losses. Monday’s border skirmish saw the Imperium kill 11.75 billion ISK for 11.6 billion in losses. Tuesday, PAPI forces chewed up some Imperium Cormorants, killing 2.2 billion ISK for 1.3 billion in losses. Later in the day, Imperium forces destroyed another attempt on the home constellation, killing 5.7 billion ISK for 1.3 billion in losses. The border skirmish battle report showed the Imperium killed 11.5 billion ISK for 6.3 billion in losses. Wednesday, the border skirmish battle report showed the Imperium killed 17.2 billion ISK for 9.9 billion in losses. Thursday, the border skirmish battle report showed the Imperium killed 5.3 billion ISK for 14.1 billion in losses. Friday, Imperium Jackdaws traded evenly with PAPI HACs, with the Imperium losing 9 billion ISK for 8.5 billion ISK in kills. The border skirmish battle report showed the Imperium killed 7.3 billion ISK for 6.5 billion in losses. Saturday, the border skirmish battle report showed that the Imperium killed 7.1 billion ISK for 7.5 billion in losses.
ELSEWHERE IN NEW EDEN
Legacy lost a Hel in Derelik, while Northern Coalition lost two corporations to NSH. Included among the nearly 400 characters were most of NC.’s USTZ FC cadre in Original Sinners. The initial ping suggested that Vince Draken possibly interpreted their leaving as a mutiny of sorts, but reports suggest that their supers and heavy ships left in good order and that cooler heads may have prevailed. Their departure was confirmed as of midnight, EVE time on July 13th.
