With the changeover from conquerable stations to faction fortizars, CCP also introduced permanent monuments that will forever memorialize the last holders of these historic stations. In some cases, however, player groups mutually agreed to change who would hold the monument. Two weeks ago, CCP hinted at just such an arrangement, and put out a call for any other groups that would be interested to mutually agree upon a monument transfer. Following an announcement from CCP Fozzie, INN can now report that the initial agreement was between Guardians of the Galaxy’s Solyaris Chthonium (SLYCE) and the Imperium’s Goonswarm Federation.
We've reached the end of the application window for voluntary transfers of station monuments, and in total there will be two substitutions:
VFK-IV from SLYCE -> CONDI
X-R3NM from TEST -> CVAhttps://t.co/rmlrYN1CCH #tweetfleet #eveonline— CCP Fozzie (@CCP_Fozzie) June 20, 2018
In addition to the SLYCE-CONDI deal, it appears that Test Alliance Please Ignore (TEST) also made an arrangement with CuratoresĀ Veritatis Alliance (CVA) to have the CVA logo on the monument inĀ X-R3NM in Providence.
Further details are still unknown at present – including the exact details of the monument, which are yet to be seen – but what we do know now is that the historic VFK-IV station monument will show the GSF logo. Further coverage will follow as INN seeks commentary and additional details from the various parties involved, both about the arrangements and the nature of the monuments.

RIP VileRat. We will never let Eve politics stand above our servicemen and servicewomen.

He wasn’t in the service when he died, if memory serves he was an IT guy for the State department.

He was serving our country overseas. Maybe not in the military, but his life was on the line.

I’m not sure if it applies in this case, but often “I work for the State Department” can be a bit of a euphemism.

Knew I saw it somewhere. And I’m surprised some people are thinking I’m discounting him, as someone working in IT myself I see him as a badass.
