Today, on September 16 2017, a post on Reddit, leaked from Stella Nova internal communications, announced that Vanguard Coalition is officially disbanding, as the only other member in the coalition, except for Triumvirate. was Stella Nova. Stella Nova has previously been criticized by Vanguard for not contributing enough members to coalition level operations. The following message was distributed to Stella Nova members.
This is a very brief update to stem any concerns that may be flying around due to standing changes.
After a discussion with Vanguard/Tri leadership there was a decision to wind up the Vanguard Coalition as in effect SNOVA was the only remaining member.
Although standings have been lowered we still have full access to all TRI citadels and we remain supportive of our friends in TRI.
Please make arrangements to move all your assets from TRI citadels and we will be sorting out move ops and and support for pilots to get their stuff back from IAS and A24
THERE IS NO NEED FOR ANY PANIC… WE HAVE PLENTY OF TIME TO SORT OUT OUR ASSETS… AND TIME TO THINK ABOUT WHAT WE WANT/NEED TO DO NEXT

With Vanguard Coalition being disbanded, this puts Triumvirate. in a precarious position. After declaring war against the Drone Regions Federation, and their allies TEST and Phoenix Federation. Although Triumvirate. still has the support of Fraternity, Lumpy, and Shadow Cartel, with the recent collapse of CO2, and Vanguard Coalition also collapsing, the war in the south-east seems to be swinging against Triumvirate.
With Stella Nova also extracting from the south, their position is also in danger. With most of New Eden allied to either The Imperium or Pan-Fam, the question of where they will decide to go is an interesting one. With a SOTA (State of The Alliance) planned for Stella Nova on Sunday, their plans will become clearer.
