On October 22, 2015, while the rest of the world was celebrating how the entire Back to the Future series was now a group of movies that took place in the past, a brawl ensued in the region of Wicked Creek, in the systems of M-MBRT, R4N-LD, TP7-KE, between the forces of Test Alliance Please Ignore and the Imperium.
The fighting began in earnest at around 1:22 EVE time, when first blood was dealt by Imperium forces, in the form of a single Cheetah frigate. However, this did not last as hostilities quickly escalated, and 30 minutes afterwards T3 cruisers were being lost.
The Trafalgar Shuffle (TEST vs. Imperium in Wicked Creek)
Despite having an early lead on the ISK and kills, the Imperium began to falter in their resolve, with logi and Tengus quickly being shredded by the combined force of TEST’s Legions and Proteii. This fight quickly proved to be disastrous for the Imperium, as their ships began to be incapable of going through the TEST offensive.
The Imperium brought a tried and tested doctrine to the field as their main battle formation: the Tengu fleet with Basilisk logi. TEST brought their own T3 cruisers in the forms of Legions and Proteii, with Oneiros logi. Numerous other parties were on the field as well, mainly in the form of stealth bombers to sneak onto killmails. Notable on both sides was the presence of Drakes, although only two were present for each.
The total damages from the fighting reached upwards of 26.66 billion ISK, with Imperium bearing the brunt of the losses. TEST managed to win soundly, with the fewest losses and least ISK lost as well.
