The latest TEST Alliance Please Ignore State Of The Alliance has come and gone, with some interesting news to report. Rumours and speculations had been floating around about TEST possibly making a push into Period Basis to escalate things with RMC. However, it appears that will not be the case. Let’s take a closer look!
TEST has been busy building up assets over the past month. The goal was to amass a dread fleet somewhere in the neighbourhood of 400 ships strong. According to TEST leadership, however, TEST will no longer be in “carebear mode”. Their efforts to amass their dread fleet were somewhat hindered by Stainwagon. As a result, they’ve decided that it’s time to clear Stainwagon out of Stain once and for all.
Now, their plan is to deploy into Stain and stage out of 9RQ-L8. From there, they intend to destroy any remaining trace of Stainwagon. It is expected to be a fairly large affair, as they intend on moving the entirety of their capital fleet. This includes Supercarriers and Titans. Of course, a big move like this doesn’t go unnoticed or unchecked. A number of Imperium fleets are already spinning up to offer TEST a warm welcome to the Stain region.
In addition to their interests in wanting to wipe out Stainwagon, Progodlegend mentions that TEST is fairly certain that Pandemic Legion’s cache of Dreads is actually in 9RQ as well. As a result, there is a potential ulterior motive in their desire to stage out of that system.
The Lead-In
Events over the past month hinted at this. While TEST has been locked in conflict with RMC, they seemed noncommittal with regard to doing anything of significance there. With the hostilities cooling down between the two of late, many expected that something was up. With this in mind, the move to Stain likely shocks few.
We’ll be keeping eyes and ears open to see how this situation develops!
