TEST State Of The Alliance: TEST Is On The Move! Look Out Stainwagon!

The latest TEST Alliance Please Ignore State Of The Alliance has come and gone, with some interesting news to report. Rumours and speculations had been floating around about TEST possibly making a push into Period Basis to escalate things with RMC. However, it appears that will not be the case. Let’s take a closer look!

TEST has been busy building up assets over the past month.  The goal was to amass a dread fleet somewhere in the neighbourhood of 400 ships strong. According to TEST leadership, however, TEST will no longer be in “carebear mode”. Their efforts to amass their dread fleet were somewhat hindered by Stainwagon. As a result, they’ve decided that it’s time to clear Stainwagon out of Stain once and for all.

Now, their plan is to deploy into Stain and stage out of 9RQ-L8. From there, they intend to destroy any remaining trace of Stainwagon. It is expected to be a fairly large affair, as they intend on moving the entirety of their capital fleet. This includes Supercarriers and Titans. Of course, a big move like this doesn’t go unnoticed or unchecked. A number of  Imperium fleets are already spinning up to offer TEST a warm welcome to the Stain region.

In addition to their interests in wanting to wipe out Stainwagon, Progodlegend mentions that TEST is fairly certain that Pandemic Legion’s cache of Dreads is actually in 9RQ as well. As a result, there is a potential ulterior motive in their desire to stage out of that system.

The Lead-In

Events over the past month hinted at this. While TEST has been locked in conflict with RMC, they seemed noncommittal with regard to doing anything of significance there. With the hostilities cooling down between the two of late, many expected that something was up. With this in mind, the move to Stain likely shocks few.

We’ll be keeping eyes and ears open to see how this situation develops!

(UPDATE: The original text of this article identified the speaker as Sapporo Jones, the leader of TEST. This has been corrected.)

It is useful to look at this SOTA in conjunction with the MER data. Test have stated what they were able to do in a single month in the space that they hold. The results of which they seemed rather happy about.

The most interesting part here though is whether or not Test will be able to do the one thing that no other group has been able to do. This is the bold claim of simply purging NPC space of hostile entities.

As mentioned by many quite some time ago, Catch is crucial to logistics for The Legacy Coalition. A region Test stuffed full of meat shield alliances. With the constant pressure from PL, with PL even taking systems from the residents, Test had to do something to try and bring stability to the region. So now we have Catch and Provi shaping up nicely.

There is relative stability in the north and this can very likely be maintained by PH and GotG. This will allow NC to move again should they so wish. Now where do you think NC are likely to move to given that they will be after “content” and “good fights”?

It was also great to hear Piggles needing a Vulture, typical form as ever.

Neither, I think he saying that NC will come down and third party, especially if they are right about PL’s dread cache.

I doubt Test will accomplish what other alliances have tried and failed to do for years. Test isn’t that powerful, it’s their friends that make them strong. Sure ProGod is a great FC, but Test’s membership is sloppy. I believe boredom or the carebear nature will disrupt their campaign, forcing them to abandon it.
