The PanFam is making sure to spread the love lately. What appears to have started out as a Rorqual gank in 0P-F3K on March 3 turned into the Pandemic fleet destroying a handful of Solyaris Chtonium (SLYCE) FAXes as well as a number of combat battlecruisers.
The attacking fleet was a mix of Pandemic Horde and Pandemic Legion, flying what seems to be their bread-and-butter fleet: a mix of Talos and Hurricanes, with some Tengus and Sabres sprinkled in for good measure. The SLYCE defense fleet was composed primarily of Feroxes with the FAXes, and proved to not be much of a match for the PanFam Hurricanes.
In the end, SLYCE racked up losses in the neighbourhood of 44 billion ISK, compared to the Pandemic fleet’s losses at around 4 billion ISK. It appears that not only did PanFam fleet win the battle, but they won the ISK war as well.
Rorqual ganking seems to be growing in popularity, and the defense fleets have to be ready for some stiff opposition.
