Insidious Empire Cuts Off Razor

As of August 26, Insidious Empire (EMP) holds CUT-0V in Cobalt Edge, having taken the station from RAZOR Alliance (RZR).

Fighting started early on August 23 with RZR SBU’s onlining and Baki Yuki getting doomsdayed shortly before downtime in E-BYOS. After downtime EMP formed a Dominix fleet with logistics and tackle. Triage and blap dreads were placed on standby. After the initial skirmish in the EMP home system, RZR SBUs were destroyed and EMP defensive SBUs onlined. From there the EMP fleet changed to Oracles and moved to CUT.

The RZR fleet set up in Tornadoes, so EMP rushed back to E-BYOS and changed to an assault frigate setup. This resulted in heavy losses for the RZR fleet who then reshipped to Lokis with heavy logistics support.

In response, the EMP fleet moved to a Dominix setup and bridged in to CUT and started to shoot the station. RZR then moved in to engage the EMP fleet and lost most of their logistics to sentry fire. After the RZR fleet moved out of this engagement, EMP proceeded to incapacitate the RZR jump bridge in CUT and EJ-5X2.

Three days after these events, EMP holds the station in CUT and have renamed it ‘CUT-0V XI – Didn’t want that station anyway’. EMP leader Phreeze, provided us with this statement:

After two days of pressure, RAZOR has learned their lesson and will be returning within the comforting warm embrace of a CFC deployment elsewhere.

Good fight?

If RZR continue to show up to timers for the 13 remaining stations it holds in the region, there is high potential for PVP. If rumours that Black Legion are in the area in force are true, both sides will need to be careful in their approach to this conflict and the use of capitals.
