Ever since TEST announced their withdrawal from Delve, and the CFC announced that they wouldn’t allow N3 to hold the territory, there has been speculation about when the fight over the now empty region would begin. The answer is now. In an annoucement posted on the CFC’s forums, The Mittani has declared an invasion of Delve.
Delvegrind 2013: Standing Orders
This is a brief but necessary campaign; Delve is vacant but needs to be ground. For the past week, GSF SBUs have been online in every major station system in the region, and Vee, Mynas and the crew are now going to dick the region before it starts to molder. Done properly, this will be done with in 1-2 weeks. N3 has forces in 49- in Querious to make life a little more interesting but we don’t expect any ‘native’ opposition.
Delve will mostly be rented out for the entire CFC to profit from via [PBLRD] so everyone is expected to attend the grind if they hope to enjoy the proceeds.
Baltecfleet, Lokifleet, Harpyfleet and Siegefleet ships to 1DH.
Look for posted ops and broadcasts; catch a convoy from 4-EP if you haven’t already.
With Northern Coalition. (NCdot) deployed to Providence and officially only interested in defending Querious, the retreat of Tribal Band from Period Basis and the ongoing negotiations to sell it to the CFC Alliance “Get of my Lawn”, the announcement does not comes as a surprise. Holding Period Basis requires the control over one of the adjacent regions for supply lines.
While there is no heavy resistance expected, the deployment of the CFC comes at an interesting time with Razor Alliance engaged in fighting on the other side of the galaxy, having just lost CUT-0V to Insidious Empire. TEST, meanwhile, announced yesterday that their evacuation timetable has slipped. It is not clear how the CFC’s plans will impact TEST’s departure.
Whether or not the deployment is related to the recent attack by Pandemic Legion against a J4LP dreadnought fleet remains up to speculation.
