The Hecate, named after the Greek goddess of magic and witchcraft, has been deployed on the test server Singularity, along with the skills needed to fly it. The Hecate will be the last T3 tactical destroyer added to the game for the foreseeable future. The Hecate will be released alongside the Aegis release on July 7.
The Hecate, being the youngest of the T3 destroyers, has a lot of milestones to pass before players will love it. The Confessor and Svipul, are both versatile and adaptable ships, being capable of incredible feats of PvP and tanking. Even after the rebalance of tactical destoryers, they are still a common sight for small gang PvP, and have become wildly popular player favorites since their introduction. The Jackdaw has had mixed success, but is still a versatile ship and will likely become more popular as times goes.

With its bonuses to hull and armor tanking, the Hecate has the potential to be a force to be reckoned with. Given the success of the other tactical destroyers, and the DPS of bonused blasters, this ship has the potential to be an incredible brawler.
The Hecate is bound to hit soon, so start training those Gallente destroyer skills!
