The TMC team hit E3 2015 hard and didn’t let up. It was an amazing experience and a fantastic show. Every E3 has a different vibe, and this one had so many games we were excited to see that we barely paused for breath; rushing between the booths, scarfing down food in fleeting spare moments, partying until we dropped and then rising each morning and beginning again.
The myriad highlights of the show are hard to catalogue because it was so unrelentingly awesome. We simply cannot wait for Fallout 4 and Star Wars Battlefront to hit the shelves. We scored an exclusive demo of Master of Orion presented by Executive Producer Randy King and it was a dream come true: that game and its sequel devoured the lives of so many of us in our formative years, and it is clearly a labor of love for Wargaming.net.
Two games in particular stuck out as E3’s sleeper hits: Portalarium’s Shroud of the Avatar and Gaijin Entertainment’s Crossout. We’ll be digging into these titles and what they mean for us in their own detailed E3 Trip Reports.
The parties are as much a part of E3 as the convention floor itself, and we’re happy to report that the Twitch.tv, Daybreak Games and Wargaming.net events were epic. Karaoke was sung, aerial silk performances were witnessed, a working M4 Sherman named ‘Hangover’ somehow ended up parked in front of one of the best clubs in LA, and we went bowling while drinking and listening to Lady Gaga. We’re not making this up.
We had a great time and would like to thank our partners and many new friends for making E3 2015 such a success:
See you next year!
