Luminair Snowball Fight YC122
On December 20th, capsuleers from around New Eden joined together in Luminaire to celebrate the holiday season with a giant snowball fight. In addition to the fight, New Eden Radio and several live streamers covered the event. There was a Secret Santa Gift Exchange involving contracts, and you guessed it, there was scamming involved. A clever grinch player impersonated the event host to intercept gifts! See this forum thread for details.
Yoiul Fireside Stream
Carneros got together with CCP Burger, CCP Hellmar, and CCP Fleebix for a fireside chat, which acted as kind of a year in review for EVE Online and CCP in particular. Hellmar noted that while 2020 pretty much sucked for everyone, EVE Online fared pretty well. You can watch the stream here.
2v2v2v2 T1 Destroyers
Running through December 22, we have the 2v2v2v2 Tech 1 Destroyers (that’s a mouthful!) Abyssal Proving Grounds event. Don’t forget, there will be a second, slightly different, event coming up after the first of the year, so if you missed this one be on the lookout!
