After being delayed due to Coronavirus, the release had been teased for August by both CCP and Netease, so players had been eagerly watching for notification of the official date. The game has been in development for over two years, after being first announced by CCP in 2018 at EVE Vegas, with the final beta test closing on July 15.
Eve Echoes is a sandbox mobile game set in the Eve Online universe, and many of the features will feel familiar to veterans of Eve Online. There are 8000 systems in Eve Echoes and more than 100 ships available at launch. The developers have recently taken part in a number of AMAs, and INN will be bringing you more details of these soon, as well as giving you all the information you need to get started in the game.
Eve Echoes will be available on both iOS and Android, with both Alpha status (free-to-play) and three tiers of Omega status (paid subscription) available.
If you are interested in taking a look at the game, pre-registration is open now on the website.
