Black Legion leader Elo Knight laid out plans to his alliance for what he called a “spring vacation,” where Origin, the main corp within BL, drops and joins Frat for at least two-months. He stressed that this was just a content-driven operation.
Knight sees the March 22 end of the NIP between WinterCo and Legacy as a chance for content to come to them rather than them having to go out hunting for it, as well as opening the door to possibly taking part in the upcoming war. Other BL corps were invited to follow Origin and join Frat.
Knight went as far as to break down what ships players should train into, citing the Nag as the dread to train due to upcoming balance updates, as well as what ships and the meta he believes BL will face. He said he will run a fleet each day, however he does not expect to entosis or defend WinterCo space. PVE options were provided to players looking to rat or mine, but he said they will need his approval if they want to undock supers or titans. He noted the withdrawal from deployments in Assah, Sakht and FDZ which signals the Frat deployment as an all-in. A Reddit post noted a fleet of Muninns and a squad of Rags have already been moved to the deployment zone.
The BL recording can be found here.
INN will watch to see if more entities join the fray on either side in what is being tipped off as being the next major war between WinterCo and Legacy. There are already questions whether the Imperium will step in to support its allies in Legacy, or if the north will send support for WinterCo?
