On June 6th at around 1600 UTC the high security system of Funtanainen, a 0.9 system in Lonetrek, showed Ragnar CT-7543 that high security does not ensure safety. Ragnar CT-7543 was minding his own business in his Scorpion Navy Issue when an Alpha Strike Tornado fleet warped on top of him. According to Nod in Space of Thief Guild he was running highsec L4s.
The attackers from Thief Guild and Cancer Therapy delivered 5 Alpha strikes upon Ragnar CT-7543’s Scorpion Navy Issue dealing 34,278 points of damage, and scored a kill worth over 25 Billion ISK.
The group had stalked the player for several days, and acquired information on the month old player. After discovering his usual hangouts/systems, and learning his habits they took great ease in swiftly eliminating him. Nod in Space said their FCs and Scouts have a wonderfully devised system for discovering juicy targets, however for now, it will remain secret. His only comment on his scouts was“our scouts are doing great job”, and he is clearly correct.
This critical failure of the fit was that Ragnar chose to arm up with 4 of Kaikka’s Modified 425mm Railguns, a gun which the ship applies no bonuses too. Without truly picking the fit of the ship apart (because in every way it can be), one can see the original fit giving 646 DPS, however a modified version of the fit that sticks to bonused weapons giving 915 DPS. Modification of the fit will also will provide cap stability by simply using the weapons it is designed for. There is also a free high slot and mid slot, which can easily be equipped with anything purple.
Ragnar CT-7543 was sadly unable to escape in his pod as one final strike from Sub Keras of Thief Guild sent his corpse into oblivion and humiliation by dealing another 1.86 Billion ISK in damages to his wallet.
![]() Nod in Space | “New eden is huge and idiots are everywhere. The new players are the worse, and they think eve is a pay2win game so they just spam plex and get super shiny fits (but nomaly fits are full of nonsense)” |
At the time of writing this, no word could be reached from Ragnar CT-7543 for comment, however we will update when and if word has been reached.
Fly Safe, and keep fitting purple!
