Pandemic Legion loses Ragnarok in Aridia

It was a quiet evening in Aridia, until Rad1st of Lowsechnaya Sholupen (-LSH-) received word from contacts in Genesis about a supposed Pandemic Legion (-10.0) Nyx jumping into the system of Maseera, in the Aridia region.

LSH hunters were dispatched immediately, and Rad1st located another Pandemic Legion character in the system of Udianoor. Betting that was the location at which the Pandemic Legion Nyx would arrive, the tackle and capital forces of LSH and friends prepared to spring the trap.

The Pandemic Legion cyno in Udianoor went live, and a ship jumped through. From this point, Rad1st explained that LSH employed a simple scan and decloak maneuver that catches and kills so many supercapitals. However, Rad1st and the LSH tacklers were surprised with the appearance of a Ragnarok in place of a Nyx. Heavy interdictors immediately sprang upon the Ragnarok like lions to a gazelle. LSH’s cyno went up, piling six dreadnoughts, one Archon, numerous black ops battleships, and an Avatar-class titan onto the field.

Olivier Bouillon, however, was not about to go down easy. The dying Ragnarok fired its doomsday weapon, annihilating the Revelation of cyberhronic, a member of Infernal Octopus. Looking at the Ragnarok’s fitting, it also appears that he was diligently trying to escape. Though Olivier gave it his best, his Ragnarok disappeared in a bright explosion, littering the spacelanes with yet another wrecked titan.

Perhaps one day, every Supercapital pilot will realize travelling alone post-downtime is a bad plan. However, for the killboards of groups like Lowsechnaya Sholupen, I honestly hope they don’t.

Olivier, in regard to his lost Ragnarok, quoted from ‘Goodbye So Soon’.

This article will be updated when a video of the kill is made available.
