World War Bee: Week 39


Week 39 of World War Bee was a much more sedate period, after the frenzy of week 38, with 12 reported fights and 62 total hostile actions. Delve and other parts of New Eden were the major newsmakers.

There were four battles in week 39 that exceeded 20 billion ISK in total losses, excluding the 1DQ1-A/T5ZI-S border skirmish battle report; three of which were strategic victories for the Imperium and one was a strategic draw. The Imperium also lost 6 Keepstars over the course of the week.

The three major theaters are the North (Fountain and the border with Aridia and Cloud Ring as well as western Delve), the South (the rest of Delve, Querious, and Period Basis), and the East (Paragon Soul, Catch, Stain, Immensea, and Esoteria).


The North was relatively quiet during week 39, with Northern Coalition losing a Nyx in central Fountain and Goons losing a Fortizar.


The Eastern theater was also quite sedate versus the last few weeks. Sunday, Legacy lost a Sotiyo. Monday, Brave lost a Sotiyo. Tuesday, Legacy lost an X-Large SMA. Wednesday, Brave lost a Sotiyo. Thursday, Legacy forces got hot dropped in a small move op, with Imperium-aligned forces destroying 80.6 billion ISK for 8.6 billion in losses. Friday, Brave lost another Sotiyo. Saturday, Brave lost a Tatara.


Sunday, there were a pair of relatively large fights, the first saw Imperium forces protect a number of citadels coming online in NPC Delve, killing 76.2 billion ISK for 58.8 billion in losses. The second fight saw Imperium forces attempt to defend citadels in the SG-CTQ pocket, ultimately saving some while suffering the worst of the ISK war, losing 54.8 billion and killing 30.4 billion ISK. TNT lost their NIDJ-K Keepstar, while Goons lost a faction Fortizar, a Tatara, a Fortizar, and TNT lost an Azbel. Additionally, a pair of third-party players each lost a Nyx in the South. The border skirmish battle report between 1DQ1-A and T5ZI-S showed the Imperium killing 18.9 billion ISK for 21 billion in losses. Monday, AUTZ Imperium forces fought off PAPI forces in the 1DQ1-A constellation, killing 18.1 billion ISK for 12 billion in losses. TNT lost a Sotiyo and four separate Azbels in 8RQJ-2, while Goons lost a Tatara. The border skirmish battle report saw the Imperium kill 11 billion ISK for 11.2 billion in losses.

Tuesday, Goons lost a Tatara, while TNT lost a Tatara, a Fortizar, an Azbel, and the 8RQJ-2 Keepstar, while TEST lost a Nyx. Wednesday’s border skirmish battle report had the Imperium killing 14.2 billion ISK for 17.7 billion in losses. Thursday, Afgoonistan irregulars defended the Vietgoon pocket, killing 37.2 billion ISK for 26.6 billion in losses. TNT lost a Fortizar and a faction Fortizar, while Goons lost a pair of Sotiyos. The border skirmish battle report had the Imperium killing 13.9 billion ISK for 14.1 billion in losses. Friday, Goons lost the R5-MM8 Keepstar and an Azbel, while TNT lost a Tatara. The border skirmish battle report saw the Imperium killing 16.3 billion ISK for 12.9 billion in losses. Saturday, TNT lost an Athanor, while Goons lost the GOP-GE Keepstar and the pair of E3OI-U Keepstars. The border skirmish battle report showed the Imperium killing 25.9 billion ISK for 12.7 billion in losses.


Sunday, PAPI forces lost a pair of supercarriers, TEST lost a Fortizar, but the big news was The Initiative ganking a PAPI move op in Insmother, with the Imperium-aligned forces killing 97.5 billion ISK for 193.4 million in losses. Monday, PAPI forces lost a Hel. Tuesday, Legacy forces lost a Fortizar, Horde lost a Nyx, and PAPI lost a Nyx. Friday, Fraternity lost a Hel, Legacy lost a Hel, and PAPI miners got dropped on, with Imperium-aligned forces killed 20.5 billion ISK for 905.6 million in losses.

    Is Goonswarm going to sign a peace treaty?

      Who in PAPI can be trusted to keep their word? Already there is a trail of broken promises from this war alone. Others will also fall as and when they are no longer convenient to maintain.

      Then of course there is the matter of The Imperium having spent 5 years building after The Casino War knowing that PAPI/BoB would come again. The Imperium did not spend all this time doing nothing and The Mittani has made it very clear that we are more than happy to put it all on the board in 1DQ.
