The first day of the new year brought the first fight of the year, with Imperium forces, newly deployed to catch, taking on TEST in the opening battle of the invasion that TEST had announced just before the new year.
The fight is over 2 citadels that are being onlined in the system of F4R2-Q.
It may turn out to be a structure shoot like recent anchoring fights, but, we will keep you updated as and when anything happens throughout the night.

The first citadel timer has 2h9m left on it, there are 2223 in local, and no tidi.
Daopas stream is showing no combat yet, although there are large fleets from both sides in local, with TEST and Drone walkers being present, along with Triumverate and Imperium.
Test have done a bombing run at an Imperium T3 fleet, but did not manage to inflict any major casualties.
Neither MC or CO2 have arrived on field yet.

Imperium fleets engaged a TEST fleet, but the TEST fleet warped off as they landed.
Still no engagements, and it is looking like a mexican standoff in the system, according to the Imperiums Myrddin Calyx who is in the system.

Both TEST and Imperium are said to be forming reinforcement fleets, as the USTZ comes in to take over from the EUTZ pilots, however nothing is yet confirmed, as there seems to be movement of ships leaving the field too

It seems to be winding down at F4R2, Goonswarm brought in Nyx and Aeons, and this seems to have cleared the field.
One of the fortizars is down, the other is still up, not sure if it has anchored yet, trying to find out.
Reports are coming in of Goonswarm losing Dreads.

The TEST Fortizar is dead, the CO2 fortizar has its repair timer paused, and is being shot. It is at 80% structure at the moment, so with 10% tidi it will take a while

After leaving CO2 yesterday, Black Omega Security (SUAS corp) have joined Mercenary Coalition. With Mercenary Coalition being on the side of TEST and CO2 in the current war, this means that CO2 still have the fighting forces of BOS with them.
