On August 29 CCP Karkur released a Little Things Dev Post related to the September Release. CCP looks for “little things” in the game that makes using the interface or some process more challenging than it ought to be. Crusty old bitter vets are either rolling their eyes or laughing maniacally right now. For those who have ideas on things that can be changed to make our pod-life better should head over to the “little things” thread.
Here is a taste of what CCP has planned
Fitting Changes
There are some nice changes here. Saving modules in cargo, updating existing fits, last saved timestamp and the ability to include drones in a fit even if they are launched when the fit is saved are all great changes. Being given the option to open the multi-buy window opening when you run out of items in a fitting will be a nice addition.
Market
Limiting the Market Ticker to items in your Market Quickbar is a better option…unless you are like me and ignore the ticker and view it as some un-necessary fluff. Multi-buy has been added to the Neocom menu under Business.
Skins
The ability to activate multiple skin licenses at a time will be nice for those who love to load up on them. There are a number of other enhancements to the skins interface.
Other
There are a number of miscellaneous changes the best of which are listed below.
The Dock/Jump/Active hotkey now works in WH space. Character sheets will show how many skill points you train per minute for each skill based on your characters current configuration. CTRL+Tab will cycle through windows in order of most recently active to least. There are some nice new filters in the My Structures tab for Type, Services, and Low Power.
There is one option I really like. The ability to toggle the collapse of all windows.
Personal Cargo
In a different post, CCP Fozzie announced the addition of Personal Cargo Deposit on SISI.
This will allow players within 10k of an upwell structure to deposit cargo into the structure. With the standard interface options, players will be able to drag and drop cargo from their ship into any upwell structure. Even structures they do not have the ability to dock in.
This option will be perfect for ships that are too large to dock in a structure but need to deliver cargo to it. For instance, rorquals could deposit into athanors. Courier pilots could deliver contracts to structures they do not have permission to dock at.
