At 2200 on October 26, Snuffed Out [B B C] and the Imperium mutually reset standings towards one another as Snuff took their leave of the coalition.
Snuffed Out’s departure comes after more than a year as a member alliance of the Imperium. The low-sec based alliance joined in the aftermath of The Imperium’s troubled Hakonen deployment, having worked closely and developed a relationship with the Space Violence SIG in the months prior to that campaign.
INN understands that Snuffed Out’s primary reason for leaving is due to extended coalition standings lists compared to their previous experiences in lowsec. Their decision may also have been prompted by the news in recent months that Waffles has split from PL and returned to lowsec, indicating that smaller-scale conflict in lowsec may be more possible again.
Representatives from the Imperium also assured INN that this departure is happening on friendly terms, and that there will be a continuing relationship between the two groups going forward, including support in the case of major future conflicts.
