Every once in a while, a goon comes along who makes such a profound impact on his fellow bees that their work is recognized and commemorated by the prestigious Brisc Rubal Home for Hot Unwed Mothers (BRHHUM).
Mind1 is one such goon. Touching the lives of so many goons. Supporting the hive through both wars and peace. Acting as one of the greatest ambassadors of Goondom the game has ever seen.
A History of Service
Finding talent has never been an issue for KarmaFleet in general. But when Merkelchen and Saturday Night Swarm (SNS) found Mind1 at Club Fuze, they truly found the pot of gold at the end of the proverbial rainbow. Mind1 was found doing his own live stream of a nearly empty club. The generous goons of SNS started sending tips. Oh so many tips. They tipped to request songs. They tipped to get shout outs. And all was fine until they started tipping to buy drinks for the club members.
Rumor is that poor Becky never recovered from the alcoholic generosity of that SNS. This became the first of many miracles that Mind1 would perform on his way to sainthood. Let’s look at some highlights.
The Battle-Bard Rises
Mind1 has continued to be the primary DJ and conductor of SNS since that time. Other than the yearly replay of “Fiesta Equestria”, the Swarm can always count on Mind1 to drop, mix, and entertain for SNS. But more so, Mind1 became a critical means of deploying the marching music of the Beeitnam war. Like Bob Hope at a USO show, as fast as Srsli could create the songs for the Ministry of Truth, Mind1 would have them out into the world to raise the spirits of goons on the front line. As the war ground on, Mind1 could be seen putting in longer and longer hours. Mind1 was a chief architect of the atmosphere that made victory possibe.
Recognizing Greatness
In recognition of his great accomplishments and years of dedicated service, Mind1 has received an award from Brisc Rubal’s Home for Hot Unwed Mothers. Head of Ski-ball Operations Ceema delivered this to Mind1’s executive producer, and it is a gift of immeasurable worth. So great is the renown of The Home that even those who handled the shipping and delivery of the award were held in awe of it.
Mind1, live on stream, received the awards. A formal commendation letter (with an offical letterhead) and a golden record player to commemorate his skills on the turn table. And finally, the official food of our people, a slice of pineapple pizza.
We commemorated Mind1 when he first joined the imperium all those years ago, and we are here to give him our congratulations on his 5 years of service to the Imperium and Karmafleet too.
