After Holesale Operations discovered last week that Hard Knocks was planning to evict the Holesale capital system, Holesale Operations has taken steps to defend itself against the invasion.
Not So Friendly Fire
Holesale found out that an Azbel in system was being used to produce the supposed 150+ capital ships produced for HK by a spy in Holesale, and reinforced the structure to freeze any possible caps that are being built or not yet in the hands of seeder characters.
The structure was killed later in the week, with the only ship in the structure being a Thanatos
By killing its own structure, Holesale Operations have fired the only shots in this war. Since there was only one ship in the structure, we can assume that there are more spies in other structures, along with ships logged off in space. Holesale Operations purge its roster of inactive members after the spy was discovered, though the number kicked is unknown at the moment. A few rumors have been going around, such as the idea that HK and its allies might bail now that its plan has been foiled, while other rumors state that LazerHawks (another w-space group) has started to place capitals in the system, and HK is just holding for now until the situation becomes more clear.
Keepstar Bait?
Holesale also began to unanchor its own Keepstar. While the reason for doing so is unknown at this point, its purpose may be to taunt HK into a fight. No statements have been heard from HK or LZHK at this time. If HK backs out, nine months of work and capital building would be put to waste.
Holesale membership is still on sitting by until further notice. The alliance and allies are on red alert until they know what HK plans on doing with its capitals in system. At this point we have no idea what will happen, there haven’t been any fights as both sides are deciding what to do, and that will determine if an attack will happen.
