Goonswarm Keepstar Anchoring in Pure Blind

Today on reddit, a user revealed the anchoring of a Keepstar by Goonswarm Federation in the system of KQK1-2.

This move is the second in a battle strategy that has involved the capturing of infrastructure hubs across the western front of Panfam space, which appears to have been with the intention of holding a system that will lessen the structure’s anchor time from seven days to one.

Much of Panfam space on its western front has been reinforced, with half of Tribute in a state of reinforce and a system in Pure Blind captured by Goonswarm.

While the Keepstar is not in range of NC/PL’s staging Keepstar of SH1-6P, it grants the Imperium supercapital jump range over the western portion of Tribute, as well as striking range of the M-OEE8 Keepstar. While that structure has been transferred to an alt corp to preserve the owner’s killboard, this is unlikely to deter the attackers who remain well aware that the real ownership and access have not changed.

It is unknown at this time whether or not Panfam will contest the Keepstar, which exits at around 0300 Eve time.

I have strong thoughts about Eve Online that come from being all over the place and being an outlier from the major power blocs. I've been in the small groups, the huge alliances, and completely by myself. I've mined in HiSec and dropped capitals in Null, and learned a lot from both.
