AT Feeder Weekend – Goonswarm through, plus much more!

2017-06-12

The feeder weekend for the Alliance Tournament XV has just finished, with some great matches, as well as some surprising moments.

Top of the list of surprising moments was when one team (Legio Astartes Arcanum) decided to out-do PL in previous years, and boundary violate with their entire team. This was due to the anchor not paying attention to where they were in space, and can be seen here:

The first day had several no-shows, including LowSechnaya Sholupen, who forfeited against Project Mayhem as a result. The no-shows from day one got a second try on day two, along with the teams who lost.  There was also a mirror match between RvB and Requiem Eternal. The  full results from day one can be seen over at Eve-NT and the VOD is available on Youtube:

Day two saw Goonswarm make another attempt to get to the Alliance Tournament proper, after losing in round one to Spectre Fleet. After a no-show by senseless intentions, they got a free pass into the final round of the day against Best Intentions, which was a battle of drone ships, and can be seen here:

Asher Elias led the team to victory, so for the first time since 2013, Goonswarm Federation will be in the AT!  Congratulations to them, and to everyone else who made it through (Shadow Cartel, Rote Kappelle, and Purple Helmeted Warriors).  The full results from day two are over at Eve_NT, with the playlist of matches on their Youtube.

Some really nice matches on this first weekend. Nice variety of setups, I love seeing vindicators.

Thanks for featuring our team, just to add we also beat “Heirs of Nothing” in the first round of day 2 before we got the bye. We ended up going 2-1 in the Feeders.
