Following the success of the t-shirt design contest which was held before Eve Vegas with over 150 entries. CCP have launched a new contest for players to submit artwork for a new mouse mat design to be printed and sold in the eve merchandise store.
The designs should be as follows: 7.75″ x 8.25″ (300 Pixels Per Inch @ 100% Size) with all critical details within 7.5″x8.0″. Images can be monochrome, full color, or anywhere in between, but only .PSD or .AI files.
Preferably, designs should consist of imagery that resonates with the community. Eve IP material can be used in your designs.
CCP Falcon goes on to list the design of the mouse mat itself and give hints for which designs would work best.
“The mouse mat has a polyester fabric surface with a natural open cell rubber backing. The inks that print on the mouse mat don’t do metallic or show a ton of brightness.”
All submissions should be emailed to [email protected] with eve online mouse mat design as the subject. The contest is open from now till the 25th of February, with the winners to be announced on the 1st of march.
