CCP have released a devblog to close out the year, announcing that they have created a “Your Year in Eve” video for all players who have had at least one month of Omega subscription during 2019.
Emails with a link to the video have gone out to 214,713 unique email addresses. If you have more than one email registered for various accounts you may receive multiple videos.
The videos provide an overview of key stats for all players such as number of jumps, number of systems visited and number of times podded.
On top of this, players have been split into one of three categories; PvE, PvP and Industry. These categories are then used to provide further statistics for you. If you are assigned Industry, you will get statistics on number of items manufactured, ISK value of ore mined, and ISK value of PI exported. If you are filed under PvE you get mission statistics, number of NPCs killed, number of exploration sites visited. If you were classified as PvP, then you get just one statistic: Number of kills, and where this places you in the overall rankings for Eve in 2019.
The full criteria for the video is listed in a separate devblog, so check that out if you have not received an email, or are curious about how it was put together.
Finally, the devblog states that if you share memorable moments from your video on social media using the hashtag #MyEVE2019 you can win SKINs, PLEX or a signed copy of the Frigates of Eve book.
On an unrelated note, CCP have just sent out their quarterly survey so if this has landed in your inbox fill it in and send it back. This quarter focuses on corp management/joining a corp, botting concerns and perception of the economy.
