Earlier today, a Fortizar belonging to Freedom Among the Stars entered the vulnerability timer for its Armor section in the Curse system of XX9-WV.
Forces from Imperium (Goonswarm, Initiative, and TNT), Hard Dr0p, and other small groups arrived to the battlefield with Machariels, Abbadons, and Ravens to engage the structure.
To combat the attackers, FAS and Bright Side of Death arrived with a small fleet of Railgun Nagas.
As the battle raged, FAS undocked Naglfars fitted with capital-sized artillery which sieged to hit the battleships. At range and against the battleships size, the guns were able to slam massive damage into the attackers. Nearly 20 billion isk of battleships were quickly volleyed off the field, taking a total of 27.5b off the attackers against 6.5b off the defenders.
However, the unusual stratagems employed did not prevent the attackers from winning the objective, which sent the Fortizar back into a reinforced state for its Structure section.
