In an announcement made minutes ago on the EVE Online CSM subforums, CCP Swift announced that ProGodLegend has resigned from the CSM.
In the post, CCP Swift makes it clear that this was a personal decision made by PGL, and that PGL remains in good standing with regards to the CSM. Given that the CSM term is approximately three-quarters served, PGL’s time on the CSM will count against his term limit.
According to the results of the CSM 16 election held last June, Arsia Elkin of Electus Matari was the next candidate in succession, and they have accepted the empty seat on the CSM and are currently being onboarded fully. The forum post goes on to state that Arsia has already attended their first meeting, and that CCP look forward to working with this new member going forward.
ProGodLegend has also made their resignation public in a post on r/eve. In the post, PGL states that he will be relocating to “the mountains” for an extended period of time, and “will be actively avoiding most of [his] electronics” during that period. As such, he felt it “didn’t make much sense for [him] to remain on the CSM”. He went on to commend Arsia for their performance in the last election, saying that he has “no doubt she will do very well on the CSM.” The full statement can be read here.
We here at INN would like to wish PGL well on his electronics hiatus and hope he enjoys his time snowboarding. We would also like to take this opportunity to welcome Arsia to the ranks of player representatives, and we look forward to seeing their impact.
