At approximately 0300 EVE in the Amamake system, a fight broke out over a HYDRA Reloaded Keepstar.
The fight rapidly escalated into a titan brawl, and at the time of writing between six and eight titans have already died, with more cropping up according to the battle report. Dreadbomb., Purple Helmeted Warriors, Freight Train Diplomacy and The Knights of Evermore lost multiple Erebii and Avatars, compared to a single Leviathan lost by Snuffed Out (again, at the time of writing).
Noted Freight Train FC and military advisor Zed Starshine lost his personal Erebus in the fight, the most expensive titan lost in this brawl.
The preliminary report also has more than a trillion ISK killed overall, and is ongoing. INN will bring you updates to the story as events continue.
Gray Doc
Note to self: Write a story in which you get to use the plural “Erebii.”

Shirley getting the chance to write the word Erebusses is worth it?

It’s Greek, not Latin. ‘Erebii’ wouldn’t be right, either. It should be ‘Erebos’ and so, ‘Ereboi’.
Though, I think I’d prefer Erebusen.

Do you think Greece existed in the EVE Universe?

Yes. The people who settled New Eden came from Earth and her colonies. The current date by the Gregorian Calendar in EVE is 22359 A.D.
Do they remember Greece? No. The whole idea of ‘Earth’ is a conspiracy theory in New Eden, with some (especially among the Amarr) even rejecting the idea of a single homeworld for all of humanity. They get around the problem of ‘seriously? An entire star cluster populated by species with the same DNA structure, same proteins, same hormones, and even the same species independently arising on worlds dozens of light years apart?’ with Ye Olde ‘God did it’.
But Greece definitely existed.
(Side note: this is why some things we’d consider perfectly normal are mythological in New Eden. Like wolves. Check the ship description, it’s named for a mythological beast. 😉 )
