On September 21, Brave Newbies Inc. began a mass purging of all their inactive members. This comes after an announcement/leak that Brave Collective is due to reform into a new Caldari Militia alliance, Brave Squids.
After the Catch debacle and coups, Brave Collective briefly evacuated to Aridia lowsec, where content was found but members suffered. The Imperium then gave Brave Fountain, a region flowing with moongoo and bountiful ratting. However, Black Legion. also decided to move in.
Thus began a short period of conflict over the region’s R64 moons after which, having bled numbers, fleet participation, and morale, new leader Nancy Crow called for the evacuation of Fountain and the move to Aunsou in Placid. During these periods of stress and internal conflict, Brave lost many large corporations such as Bovril, the largest mining corporation in the game, Bearded Battlebears, and UNITAS. The only significant (>100-man) corporations left are Beyond Frontier, Exploration Frontier, Brave Provisions, Thrall Nation, Corporate Scum, Kite Co Space Trucking, Absolute Massive Destruction, and the wormhole corporations.
Now, Brave Collective and Brave Newbies Incorporated move into a new stage of their life as they reform into a new alliance in Caldari faction warfare as a way to both find content and give line members real sources of income such as plexing and FW Level 4 missions. As this goes on, Brave Newbies Inc directors have almost finished the mass purging of roughly nine thousand members due to inactivity in an effort to trim the fat and make the move easier with fewer people to deal with. The corporation has fallen from around ten thousand members to 1444. Brave director Cornak Firefist has said that though there are no plans in the foreseaable future to do so, Brave may one day go back into null.
TMC wishes Brave Collective well in their future endeavors
