After a few weeks of silence, GigX called for both a CEO meeting and an impromptu State Of The Alliance (SOTA) to announce that the plan is to disband the alliance.
Gigx credits a number of issues to the fact that the Circle Of Two name attracts too much attention, and that they will never be able to settle down and take sov without being pursued for their name. With the last ditch attempt to take sov in Branch having failed when Pandemic Horde and Black Legion ditched their campaign, and given the information from their previous SOTA, it would not be unreasonable to assume that CO2 currently lack the funds to keep a nullsec alliance running smoothly.
A recording which has been made available to INN details the attempts made by GigX and Da Winci to try and find a home, ranging from finding a collective home for their most active corporations to merging the alliance into a single corp and widotting themselves into another alliance. All of the their discussed methods have not borne fruit, leading to the current decision.
Members have also been told that standings with Pandemic Horde will remain the same as players move around and extract their assets, possibly indicating that CO2 leadership recommends PH as a destination.
As always, INN will monitor and update our readers as the members of CO2 go their separate ways.
