In a discord broadcast to Pandemic Horde made available to INN this evening, Gobbins, the leader of the PH alliance, has sounded the retreat of the Branch campaign and has given the order to fall back. The message can be read in full here.
The announcement highlights issues with 3rd parties turning up to help defend timers outside the fabled AUTZ. Gobbins addressed the issue of overwhelming pressure on multiple fronts; Horde have been dealing with the reset from NC, the invasion of high-security space by TEST, and the ongoing Goonswarm camping operations in the Kalevala region. However, due to timers being made in Geminate and INIT supporting Dead Coalition timers, it has been too much to deal with all at once. Gobbins also says that DeadCo defensive campaign should be recognized as having “put up a good show in their timezone”.
The focus has gone back to Geminate, there’s been some standing resets with NC. fleets and groups have been recalled to help with the defense of Geminate. A new push to joined operations with carriers has been announced.
Lastly, Gobbins touched up on the camping operations in Kalevala, declaring the space open to all of Horde. Previously, these ratting areas were reserved for the more higher ends groups of PH, but the National Goon Surveillance Agancy (NGSA) camping operations have reduced the majority of ISK generation in the Kalevala Expanse. Despite this, or perhaps because of it, the region has been declared safe for VNI and even carriers to rat as long as you have eyes on the systems. Additional sources have stated that systems in Cobalt Edge have been rented in order to provide safer capital ratting space for the Blessed Bean and Vanguard groups.
As always, INN will continue to monitor the situation and update you all with the major events of the day.
