Tankmas is here!

As the festive season begins once again, what better way to spend your days than mass vehicular destruction. Yes, it’s that time of year again and the World of Tanks tankvent calendar is back upon us once again, over at calendar.worldoftanks.com, bringing daily deals and festive offers every, well, day.

Every day a new rare or exciting tank will go on sale. Now, this is particularily exciting for me as we may even see the return of such tanks as the TOG II and the KV5, two of the most hilarious premiums in the game. Wargaming have also promised new premium tanks entering the store. If you’re on the lookout for these tanks, WG have hinted the following dates:

Dec. 2-12

Dec. 9-19

Dec. 20 – Jan. 9

Dec. 21 – Jan. 2

Also, don’t forget the XP bonuses every weekend that will be a part of this event:

Dec. 2-5: x2 Crew XP

Dec. 9-12: x3 XP

Dec. 16-19: x2 Crew XP

We’re also likely to see more details about the upcoming Tankmas event on December 22 and information about the New Year’s event on December 28.

Tankrewards.com also has an event running for the holiday period. For every new person who signs up to the tankrewards website, Wargaming will donate $1 to Toys for Tots, which is a charity that specialises in providing toys for less fortunate children. Also, there are a wide variety of your standard tankrewards available, but expect to work just as hard as usual for them.

Oh, one final thing. Throughout the event there will be 8 parts of a bonus code hidden on the advent calendar pages. Collect all 8 parts of these codes and you will be able to redeem a “special reward” at the end of the event.

That’s all for today, remember to check calendar.worldoftanks.com daily to have the maximum chance of picking up these rewards, which are famously awesome. Happy tanking!

and in ships we get a new select-able daily mission system that can net you a Japanese Premium T6 Destroyer. That is… if you’re not knee-deep already in earning all the Ars Nova ships which have been made available again…

I’d say yeah it is, we’ve had new players come in from new ad campaigns but there seems to be some controversy arising in the EU community
