A short while after Triumvirate. and the Geminate Coalition signed a peace agreement, friends of Triumvirate. and former bitter enemies of GemCo SOLAR FLEET found peace with GemCo as well. SOLAR is said to be entering into a new, as-yet unnamed coalition reminiscent of the old Drone Russian Federation, spurred on by Triumvirate. who facilitated diplomatic contact and were likely a huge factor in the peace.
As this agreement comes, all noteworthy nullsec wars have come to an end, just a week before Fozziesov is deployed. All will be quiet on the Eastern Front, if only for a short while.
In the wake of this announcement, SOLAR FLEET leader MACTEP posted the following to eve-ru. Translated by TMC, it states he will be resigning the leadership of SOLAR FLEET to pursue his own interests. What this means for the future of SOLAR FLEET is open to speculation. MACTEP specifically refers to people who have said they will leave, and offered refuge to some of them in his corporation, but does not list hard numbers:
“I’ll start from the beginning. June 27th. I receive a message.
PL has gotten into contact with us.
The gist is, they are proposing a peace treaty in advance of FozzieSov
xxDeathxx and Nulli will leave us alone, and we can discuss which drone regions will be ours to live in.
They are asking, if we (meaning you) are ready to sit at the table and come to an understanding.
Tri have gotten a similar proposition
After thinking for a few days, I came to the realization that for the future of the alliance this option is better than:
1) Basic plan (Initially we did not plan to take a lot of Sov before the patch, but instead to do organized terrorism in drone regions)
or
2) Move somewhere, either south or west
In principal, I very quickly decided for myself that, should I accept this proposition, there would be nothing left for me to do in the alliance other than sit offline. In this situation I would de facto end up in an uncomfortable situation. I perfectly understand what this would lead to in future.
We discussed this proposition first in a small group, and then in a wider setting, with everyone pitching in their for/against thoughts and their options. I am in agreement with the majority of conclusions reached. All the alternatives either lead to a dead end or an annoying, and unnecessary for the alliance (SF) or any other drone region alliance, adventure of moving “somewhere else.”
Also, I did not desire a split in the alliance. We fought long and hard for our space and in my opinion no alliance had a more hardcore path than we did. I also think that the alliance deserves a rest and a more laidback/positive style of play in the future. After all, there are other people in the alliance apart from myself.
In the nearest future I will be giving all buttons and controls over to someone else, while moving myself to the corporation that 7 years ago started Solar Fleet – SDG. Following this, the corporation will leave the alliance. At the moment I have no other plans, most likely I will take a break from EVE and the weight that has been on my shoulders for the past several years.
I urge you not to make any rash movements or decisions etc, and also to relax and rest.
Over the last few days Sam was leading the negotiations, talking about the territories that SF would hold in the drone regions, as well as the conditions of the peace. At one point, the terms were unacceptable to basically every CEO, but it seems they have now satisfied the majority of the CEOs/directors in SF.
I do not urge anyone to leave the alliance, however I know that there are pilots who are determined and have announced their departure. If you so desire you may write me a letter in EVE or forums (for now) about joining SDG. I urge you not to rush this decision and weigh all your options.
There are no plans for SDG as of yet. The basic idea will be “small roaming”, “no standings”, “looking for any and all targets of opportunity”. Maybe starting next month, maybe a bit later.
Regardless of the fact that I have been wanting to leave the day-to-day operation behind me for a long time now, this decision was not taken lightly by me, and I take no joy in it, I only realize that this is the lesser of all the evils.
I would like to thank everyone who remained and remains loyal to me, those who wanted to live in easy and profitable conditions have long left the alliance, but unfortunately the good old days, dating back to the old Red Alliance, when diplomacy was replaced with 1400mm cannons have long passed. This last era of managers and diplomats is not for me, and I do not fit in.

Подумав пару дней я пришёл к мысли, что для перспектив альянса в целом данный вариант даст больше, чем:
1. базовый план (изначально не планировалось захватывать много сова до патча, а организованно заняться рандомным или точеным террором в дронах)
или
2. переезд, куда то на юг или запад.
В принципе я достаточно быстро для себя решил, что в случае принятия данного варианта, в альянсе кроме как сидеть в оффлайне, мне делать нечего. В данной ситуации, я бы по факту оказался бы, как говорится “не в своей тарелке”. Прекрасно понимая к чему бы это привело в дальнейшем.
По данной теме, мы пообщались сначала небольшой группой, потом более обширной, все высказали свои мысли за \ против \ варианты. Я согласен с большинством приведённых доводов. Ибо альтернативы введут или в тупик или в геморрой который не нужен ни СФ\ни остальным альянсам дронов или в авантюру с перелётом “куда то там”.
Также я не хотел бы раскола альянса на умных и красивых. Мы долго воевали за свой спейс, на мой взгляд более хардкорного пути не было ни у одного альянса. И думаю, альянс заслужил отдых и более лёгкого\позитивного стиля игры в будущем. В конце концов, в альянсе не я один, что-то делал.
В ближайшее время я передам все кнопки и перейду в корпорацию, сформировавшую 7 лет назад Solar Fleet – SDG. В последствии она выйдет из али.
На данный момент нет никаких планов, скорее всего – просто отдохнуть от евы и того груза который висел последние года.
Прошу не делать никаких резких движений \ выходов и тд, а также спокойно передохнуть.
Последние дни Сэм ввёл переговоры, обговаривая территории и условия нахождения СФ в дронах, в какой то момент практически для всех СЕО они были откровенно не приемлемы, но вроде как в итоге устроили подавляющее большинство сео\диров СФ.
Не призываю никого покидать альянс, но, зная, что уже есть пилоты, кто однозначно высказался о выходе. При желании вы сможете написать мне письмо в Еве о вступлении в SDG ( пока можно и на форуме).
Только не торопитесь и взвесьте всё.
Для SDG планов пока нет. Базовый ориентир на смол роуминг\ отсутствие стендов\ поиск любых целей. Может быть со следующего месяца, может быть позже.
Несмотря на то что я давно хотел отойти от дел, так сказать уйти в отставку J , данное решение мне далось не легко и я не испытываю какой то радости , я просто понимаю что это меньшее из зол.
Благодарю всех кто оставался и остался лоялен ко мне, кто хотел грядок давно покинули али, но к сожалению былые времена, ещё со времён старого РА, когда дипломатию заменяли 1400 пушки – давно прошли. А в последние эпохи менеджеров и дипломатов – я не особо вписываюсь.
