High Security Fleet hits it Big
Earlier today brave pilots from the Ministry of Love, the Imperium’s highsec operations wing, took home a notable prize in the form of the first known Marshal to be lost in combat. Sort-of. While it is true that as of this moment no Marshals have been destroyed, the hull was inside of an Obelisk at the time. Current values of the hull are in flux, but at the time of the kill, the lowest Jita price for the hull was around 18 billion ISK.
A New Sheriff
For those who live under rocks, the Marshal is the battleship version of the new CONCORD decommissioned ships that were released earlier this year. The frigate and cruiser hulls were both very powerful, and their release was not without significant controversy. The battleship is no exception, and has powerful black ops bonuses on top of universal weapons bonuses.

Armor Repairer and Shield Booster effectiveness increased by a percentage equal to 10x pilot security status, with a floor of 0% and ceiling of 50%
The loot fairy was quite generous (disproportionately so) today, and the hull was scooped. I am sure this can only mean that there will be 7 years of bad luck out of that fickle mistress in the future of the miniluv fleets. Around five hours after the Obelisk was downed, A Marshall piloted by Nikolai Mazinkov of RvB became the first of its kind to be lost in live combat.
