The Guristas Sotiyo in Alamel, Placid, comes into its final timer at 2120. The Sotiyo, the first pirate one outside of nullsec, was reinforced by Initiative. last night. They lost only 2 of their armour Ravens to the NPCs.
It was expected that some of the local faction warfare groups would be the ones to attack this, as it is in Gallente/Caldari faction warfare space.
As the timer approaches, local is at around 300, with the latest local info showing 169 Horde, 101 Initiative. on the field, with various other groups in smaller numbers. Local is filled with Horde spam.
Joe Barbarian is streaming it live over on INN Twitch where he is joined by Gommel Nox, and Arenthor.
2125: Sotiyo is paused. Initiative are booshing, and the NPCs are following them around as they go. Horde are trying to catch Iniative before they move off again, but at present are mostly landing in the middle of the NPCs after Initiative have booshed to the next spot. Initiative so far are managing to dodge both the fleets that are after them.
2205: The Horde efforts have managed to allow the Sotiyo timer to begin counting down again. The timer is now below 4 minutes.
The Guristas Sotiyo has repaired, refreshing its vulnerability completely. We’ll keep watching to see if it ends up re-contested.

I’m sorry but the Horde effort? Then a false narrative that we didn’t just salt the field? I’m sorry but your statement, “Horde are trying to catch Iniative before they move off again, but at
present are mostly landing in the middle of the NPCs after Initiative
have booshed to the next spot.”…. Did you watch the same fight I did? We killed 10 billion isk in in ships and lost a few corms. It was so one sided that Initiative left the field. After all their re-ships and reinforcements failed.
Sound the horde horn and lay off the fake news!

2125 is a timestamp, this is not a recap.

I understand 21:25 is a time stamp, that’s why i said what I said. I can look at my zkillboard and see how we were wrecking their booshers and Ravens @ 21:20. I don’t expect you to forecast the future, just properly represent its past.

The timer began at 2120

Not sure what you mean by that? Not trying to be a troll was just an awesome fight, awesome streams, then see this article and the only thing mentioned is horde lands a jump behind every time not able to catch anybody but some how their efforts managed to do something….I hear Init is so mad at the engagement they are going to start trying to farm horde space.
I do appreciate you taking the time to recap this and must apologize for the fake news line. Can’t please every one and I get that. Keep rocking on!!

What she’s saying is that it wasn’t a recap. It was being written as events were happening. Once Horde started landing accurately, Init’s CDs thinned out and they had to withdraw in pretty short order. As for zkill…
21:20 – a single Raven dies.
21:24 – a Command Destroyer dies.
Everything else comes after 21:25 (including another CD at 21:26).

Horde are becoming rather infamous for spin. But this is how bigger null blocs work. So they really should just embrace who they have become.

Spin? What spin? I thought I was trying too thwart the spin. I dont have the battle report infront of me but I believe it was an isk loss of 100 mil isk on our side vs 10 bil isk lost on their side. Yet the only thing mentioned is “Hordes efforts managed to do something”…. Guess I must be a spin doctor to assume we did anything

Looks like you’ve been doing something different other than rest of the horde :-p

I mean if I who’re on a titan kill does that make me good at eve?

It was so one sided that Initiative left the field.
That’s because they weren’t shooting at you. Kinda easy to be one-sided that way, don’t you think?
November 20, 2017 at 1:43 PMStephen Paul Arrendis
They weren’t?!? Then how did we loose any ships? Why did they came in to do a smart bomb run on us but got side stepped? Why did they leave the field with gf’s in local before the timer went down?
November 20, 2017 at 9:30 PMRhivre Stephen Paul
You went there to shoot Initiative, they went there to shoot the Sotiyo, unless you think they were actively using their entire fleet on you.
November 20, 2017 at 9:38 PMArrendis Stephen Paul
They came in to do a smartbomb run on you?
With these RR Ravens that don’t have smartbombs?
You might want to check what was actually shooting at you. You lost ships to rats. They left because after a certain point of losses, they didn’t have the CDs to continue avoiding the rats. Look at what did the majority of the damage on those Ravens. Mostly, what the corms contributed was dead Magi.
