Grab your thongs and get it on!
Winter is fast approaching in upside down land which means it is time for Eve Down Under 2017. This is the largest Eve Online event held in the southern hemisphere and is certainly one not to be missed given feedback from previous years. The Eve Down Under event has seen the global release of the iconic “This is Eve” trailer as well as the initial changes to make the Rorqual the infestation that it is. So who can tell what will be revealed this time around? The only way to find out first is to be there!
This year the Eve Down Under 2017 event will again be held at the Lendlease Darling Quarter Theatre in Sydney. The event will run from the 28th to the 30th of July. CCP Falcon, community manager, who was unable to make it last year is confirmed to attend this year. They will also be accompanied by CCP Larrikin and CCP Vertex, Senior Development Producer.
With a packed schedule lined up attendees will see:
- Developer Presentations
- Player Presentations
- Round Tables with the developers that will cover PvE, Exploration, New Player Experience, Solo/Small gang PvP and of course everyone’s favourite, nullsec.
- Alliance Panel
- Industry Panel
- Developer Q&A session
But wait! There is more!
“Dinner with a Dev” will be on again, as well as the hit Sunday Quiz at the Bavarian Bier Cafe. As you would expect of any Eve event, the social side is just as important as the in-game content and this will not be lacking.
The event is again being supported by Razer who have already been busy handing out goodies to lucky winners. So expect more to come.
As with all things Eve, you can be assured that The Imperium will be well represented. Tickets are available here for the very reasonable price of 130 AUD, which is about the same cost of roughly 9 pints in Iceland. You can also follow the event as it happens on all the normal social media such as Twitter. The Eve Down Under website can be found here.
EVE Down Under is an absolutely amazing event, it doesn’t matter if you’re there for the presentations, for the partying or for your corpmates you’ll have an awesome time.
