A short while ago, TEST bigwig Vily posted to Reddit a shocking development about the Legacy Coalition. Per the post, TEST and Co2 will be resetting each other in three days time. This is yet another turn of events in the rapidly heating up galactic southeast. As events between Co2 and other regional powers accelerated, it was expected that TEST would need to pick some sort of side. According to Vily’s post, this decision comes after about a week of diplomatic talks failed to produce a workable solution.
TEST has at this point made every effort to accommodate Co2 in all their endeavors save their choice to work with our long standing enemy and local content whore triumvirate. This was our only sticking point and sadly Gigx has chosen his relationship with triumvirate over his relationship with TEST.
TEST and Co2’s current relationship began after Co2’s abrupt and antagonistic exit from the Imperium during the Casino War. After the close of that conflict, the two alliances remained close. When PanFam began to evict Co2 from Tribute at the end of last year, TEST provided support. When it was clear that the pair’s holdings in the north would fall, they moved together to invade Stainwagon space earlier this year. Once the Russian coalition was pushed back to NPC space, each settled in. Recently cracks in the Legacy coalition came to light in a Reddit post claiming that Progodlegend had negotiated TEST into a corner that would see them working against Co2’s friend Triumvirate. With today’s development, it is clear those cracks ran far deeper than was evident. It seems that Co2 has again decided that the grass is greener on the opposite side of its current relationship.
Update: A pastebin has appeared, apparently of chat logs between Dran Arcana of TEST and GigX of CO2.
