Breaking News: DW-T2I iHub Falls

On September 6, Imperial Legacy forces assaulted the constellation of XFLN-F and was successful in being able to secure enough nodes to destroy the DW-T2I Infrastructure Hub. Initial Battle reports suggest that Imperial Legacy forces lost somewhere in the region of 75 billion ISK, and killed more than 200 billion ISK.

Imperium Coordination Director Boris Agnon, who commanded an entosis force dedicated to capturing DW-T iHub nodes, said it was not at all easy, though. Unusual bug nodes occurred, with nodes not despawning when complete and causing entosis players to be stuck. Reports from northern forces confirm that all involved encountered bugged nodes, making it hard to tell how much this played into the scoreboard, but Circle Of Two (CO2) managed to repair the iHub to 74% before slowly losing their control of the situation.

For those unaware, the DW-T2I iHub has been a significant hurdle for Imperium forces waging war in the North. This goes back to the very first major assault on Fade, where Imperium titans reinforced the CO2 staging keepstar in the system before being thwarted by a cynosural system jammer on the armour timer fight. Ever since, Imperial Legacy forces have been fighting to break iHubs in the region simple because it dictates whether a system can be freely used by capital ships from all sides of the conflict. With the destruction of this iHub, it should be expected that the Imperium and their allies will once more assault the CO2 staging keepstar. The failure of this defence means there are currently three northern Keepstars undefended by cyno jammers, with DW-T2I, 7X-VBK and 3V8-LJ all vulnerable.

Additionally, in other parts of Fade a small Fremen entosis team supported by FEDUP reinforced the C4C-Z4 iHub. The Fremen are an Imperium entosis operation now led by Director of Bad Decisions Dod Kalm, and were recently rebooted to be brought into this new era of entosis warfare. The Fremen have been very active across Fade and Pure Blind in recent weeks, and are largely responsible for vulnerability of 3V8-LJ. The C4C system also contains a CO2 Keepstar, and this timer comes out at 16:18 EVE on September 8. Given recent events, C4C-Z4 could be the next failure for Northern forces as they lose their grip on Fade.
